What we collect

• Contact form. When you send us a message, we receive the name, email address and message you type. We use it to reply to you and nothing else.
• Site Check and AI Preview. When you run one of our free tools, we receive the website address or business name you submit. We also store a short record against your IP address so we can enforce a daily usage limit and stop automated abuse.
• Site Check verification. Seeing a Site Check report requires confirming an email address. We email you a single-use code, and once you enter it we keep your address, the site you checked and the date, so we know who asked and can follow up about your results. We set one cookie at that point — it only records that this browser has been verified, for 30 days, so you don't have to repeat the step.
• Server logs. Our host records standard request data such as IP address, user agent and requested URL as part of serving and protecting the site.

We do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this site, we do not set marketing cookies, and we do not sell or share your data with anyone for their own purposes.

Who processes it

We use a small number of third-party services to run this site. Each handles data only to provide its function:

• Cloudflare — hosting, DNS, bot protection (Turnstile), delivery of Site Check verification emails, and the storage behind our usage limits, result caching and verified-address records.
• Formspree — delivers contact form submissions to our inbox.
• Google PageSpeed Insights — measures the performance of a website address you submit to Site Check.
• Anthropic — generates the written recommendations in Site Check and the concept pages in AI Preview. Submitted content is not used to train their models.

How long we keep it

• Site Check and AI Preview results are cached for about 24 hours, then deleted automatically.
• Usage-limit records expire on a daily cycle. An unused verification code expires after 10 minutes.
• A verified email address is kept until you ask us to remove it. The cookie that remembers your browser expires after 30 days, and clearing your cookies ends it sooner.
• Contact form messages stay in our email until we no longer need them for the conversation or the project.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — including the email address you verified for Site Check. Send us a message and we'll do it; there's no process to navigate. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA; we will honour those requests the same way.

Children

This site is aimed at business owners and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes and contact

If this page changes we'll update the date at the top. Questions about any of it — including a request to see or delete your data — go through our contact form, which is the route we monitor.
