Website terms

Last updated 15 October 2026

These terms cover your use of nerdcatstudios.com and the free tools on it. Paid work is governed by the separate written agreement we sign with you for that project — if the two ever disagree, that agreement wins.

Using this site

You're welcome to browse, read and use our free tools. Please don't attempt to break, overload or probe the site, scrape it at volume, or use it to process websites you have no connection to in bulk. We apply daily usage limits and bot protection to keep the tools available for everyone, and we may block access that works around them.

Our free tools

Site Check and our AI Preview generator are provided free and as-is. They produce automated measurements and AI-written suggestions, which means they can be incomplete or simply wrong. Treat the output as a starting point for a conversation, not as professional advice, and don't make an irreversible business decision on the strength of it alone.

AI Preview produces a rough visual concept. It is not a finished website, it isn't reviewed by us before you see it, and it carries no guarantee that a built site would look or perform the same.

Content and ownership

The text, design and code of this site belong to NerdCat Studios. Client work shown in our portfolio belongs to those clients and appears with their permission. You keep ownership of anything you submit to us; by submitting it you're confirming you have the right to, and giving us permission to process it to provide the thing you asked for.

Pricing shown on this site

The prices on our pricing page are current at the date above and may change. A price becomes fixed for you when we put it in writing in a quote or agreement. Monthly plans run month-to-month; usage-based add-ons such as extra email volume are billed as used.

Links out

Where we link to another website, we don't control it and aren't responsible for what's on it.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this site or its free tools, and our total liability in connection with them is limited to what you paid us for them — which, for the free tools, is nothing. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. If any part of them turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. Questions go through our contact form.
